James P. Arndt, Of Counsel
Jim is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law with over thirty years of practice experience in the Chicago metropolitan area. He has served a variety of individuals and corporations as well as family businesses in matters including real estate transactions, sales and purchases of businesses, estate planning and administration, corporate formation and administration, and tax planning and preparation.
Jim enjoys working closely with clients to determine their needs and goals for their families and businesses, including business formation, qualification and administration of charitable organizations, trust formation and administration, and business financing arrangements including equity and debt financing. Corporate clients have included a company in the security alarm industry that was listed in an initial public offering on the American Stock Exchange during Jim’s tenure as corporate counsel. He was also responsible for the company’s federal and state regulatory compliance and for the management of litigation matters with outside counsel. As an estate planner, Jim has assisted individual clients and married couples in a wide variety of personal and economic situations by developing wills, trusts and powers of attorney that address their present needs while planning for future contingencies.
In all matters, Jim strives to put the client’s needs first and to arrive at solutions that are both timely and cost effective.
